About

Roaches come out at night primarily because they are nocturnal insects. Their natural behavior is adapted to darkness, allowing them to avoid predators and search for food with minimal disturbance. At night, their environment is quieter, making it safer for them to explore and forage.

Another reason is that roaches are highly sensitive to light. When exposed to bright conditions, they instinctively hide in cracks, crevices, and other dark places to stay protected. Additionally, human activity is usually lower at night, reducing the risk of being disturbed while searching for food and water.
